What Are Periodontal Pockets?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Periodontal pockets are the gaps that develop between your gums and the surface of the roots of your teeth. They form when the gums become infected with oral bacteria and begin to pull away from your teeth, creating pockets which can fill with bacteria, plaque, and food debris.
